Just as an outlook, this medium-size conference (c. 70 delegates from a dozen of countries) will be organized in plenary and parallel sessions.
Papers and keynote lectures, apart from some general and theoretical topics, cover a large time frame, from the 15th until the 20th century, and a variety of territories, such as Algeria, Argentina, Azores, Brasil, China, Congo, India, Madeira, Malawi, Morocco, Mozambique, New France, Sri Lanka, Syria, Timor, Uganda, among others.
Language: some panels in English, some others in Portuguese.
